Digital Design for Alfa Jazz Fest
About the client
Alfa Jazz Fest is an international open-air jazz festival, which is annually held in June in Lviv (Ukraine). Concerts featuring over a hundred world class musicians, performing on three stages in the city’s downtown area, over 40,000 spectators and around 100 accredited press reporters –this is story of the Alfa Jazz Fest of the previous years. The first festival was successfully held in 2011.
About the project
Our team was chosen to create and implement brand new look & feel for this website. This was both exciting and challenging project: on one hand, we love this event and overall working with cultural events is a great opportunity to evince your creativity; On the other hand, we were dealing with a lot of information fo all kinds of audiences: musicians, attendees, media, volunteers, partners, which had to be easily accessed by all of them.
Other pages
Old website included a lot of content – schedule, map, master-classes, artists info and more. We kept all meeded information, but presented it in more lightweight, easy to access and read way.
Implementation
Since many people visit festival website on the go, especially during the event — for example, to check scedule or socail media stream, all pages and functions are easily accessible form any device and platform.
Technology stack: PHP Laravel, October CMS HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JS, jQuery
Icons set
Our graphic designers created a set of unique icons to represent the inspiring atmosphere of each stage and the whole festival.
