Reimagining Digital Banking with Data-Driven User Insights

In our partnership with Gulf Bank, we addressed the challenge of improving their digital offerings in response to evolving user expectations.
We began with extensive desk research, gathering insights from internal departments—analytics, support, product, marketing, and social media—and analyzing App Store reviews. This approach helped us uncover user needs, frustrations, and expectations.

Following the development of the app’s first iteration, we conducted usability testing in two phases: Expert Usability Testing and Real-User Usability Testing. Using the PURE methodology, we collaborated with usability experts to identify potential issues. For real-user usability testing, we recruited a diverse group of bank customers and non-customers to observe how Kuwaiti users interacted with the app.

This phase blended quantitative metrics, such as scales and behavioral data, with qualitative insights from interviews offering a comprehensive understanding of user behaviors and cultural preferences.

The insights gathered during usability testing informed significant design improvements, ensuring the app was more culturally aligned and user-friendly. As a result, it laid the foundation for ongoing user-centric design practices.

Empowering Industrial eCommerce Platform with User-Centric Research

BluePallet, an innovative industrial eCommerce Hub, streamlines the chemical procurement process, from sourcing and deal negotiations to logistics and financing.

Combining marketplace functionality with networking capabilities, BluePallet partnered with Qubstudio to redefine its user experience and better align the platform with user needs.

To achieve this, Qubstudio conducted a thorough User Research solution. We began by engaging with active platform users through in-depth interviews to identify key pain points and navigation difficulties. These conversations provided insights into usability gaps and highlighted areas for improvement.

We developed an interactive prototype and conducted iterative usability testing with the same user group. This process validated our design decisions, allowing us to test new navigation structures and layout improvements while identifying areas for further refinement.

Each iteration incorporated user feedback, ensuring that changes directly addressed their needs and expectations.

The outcome was a reimagined platform design that significantly improved usability. Navigation was streamlined and core features were made more accessible.

By embedding feedback into every stage, Qubstudio positioned BluePallet as an industrial leader setting a standard for user-focused innovation.
